Screen not being detected after upgrading to Windows 8.1

When upgrading to windows 8.1 it is highly recommended that you first uninstall the j5create display adapter driver. If you have already updated and found that your adapter is not longer working it is likely due to leftover bits of software from the previous OS. To fix this issue you will need to follow these steps:

1. Uplug adapter

2. Uninstall driver

3. right click windows icon in bottom left hand corner and select command prompt (admin)

4. type is sc delete GManager

5. Restart computer

6. Reinstall driver

7. Restart computer

8. Reconnect adapter

This should allow your computer to detect your screen through the adapter once more.
